PowWow® White Echinacea
PowWow® White Echinacea produces bloom after pristine bloom, and then produces some more! At 16 to 24" tall, this echinacea is considered to be a compact coneflower, but its large flowers and dense branching habit will bring loads of interest to any small space. Pow Wow White enjoys full sun and can reliably tolerate dry, hot weather. As a cold-hardy herbaceous perennial, PowWow® White performs best in Zones 3 - 8. Deadheading spent blooms will help to inspire new blossoms in spades, though be sure to leave some old flower heads at season's end to provide habitat for over-wintering wildlife.
PowWow® White Echinacea was featured as an honorable mention in a Mt Cuba Center Trial Garden Research Report. These reports evaluate native plants and related cultivars for horticultural and ecological value, highlighting the ecosystem services they provide.
