Outback® Calla Lily

Outback® Calla Lily

Outback® Calla Lily’s velvety red-violet fluted flowers rise from flecked deep green foliage. Plant Callas in sunny sites with moist soil. Callas are particularly suited to containers, where attractive foliage and an abundance of softly fluted flowers can be enjoyed close-up on a sunny deck, patio, or balcony. Calla Lilies prefer full sun, but can benefit from some shade or protection from intense afternoon sun, which can burn the foliage. Callas are perennial in zones 8-10; in cooler zones, you can lift and store the bulbs in a cool, dry location for the winter, then re-plant them in spring. In hot climates, the plant will die back and go dormant after flowering.

Not recommended for California, where Calla Lilies are considered invasive.
